My wife and I have played in the tournament the last couple of years, and it seems the same group wins each year! Maybe it should be handicapped or flighted, so it becomes more fun for all! Keep in mind that people a very competitive, and can easily

ReplyDeleteGood comment and one we’ve had at our Thunderbirds Biennial Reunion. Not easy to solve because some “guys” only play with the same 4some over and over every year. I think handicapping is the only way to get a level playing course
The committee reviewed the question regarding handicapping and determined it would be counterproductive due to the nature of this social event and the near impossibility of obtaining accurate handicaps for each player.
ReplyDeleteAlthough other players voiced no problem and no concern on this subject, the committee will continue to review ideas to even the playing field regarding "winners".
